Ingredients in Blackberry Oat Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Oh and you’ll love the oats in this recipe…you honestly can’t even tell that they are in there at all. Oats are so good for our bodies, they clean out the bad cholesterol in a fabulous way!
- Almond milk- is an excellent and natural source of vitamin E, which is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect your body from free radical damage. Some varieties are fortified with calcium and vitamin D, which are important nutrients for bone health.
- Greek yogurt- two cups per day can provide protein, calcium, iodine, and potassium while helping you feel full for fewer calories. But maybe more importantly, yogurt provides healthy bacteria for the digestive tract which can affect the entire body.
- Oats- are among the healthiest grains on earth. They’re a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Studies show that oats and oatmeal have many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease. I prefer to use whole grain oats because they hold up better that quick oats for baking. Did you know that oats in any form help to lower bad cholesterol, are rich in antioxidants, and a great source of fiber!
- Blackberries- contain a wide array of important nutrients including potassium, magnesium and calcium, as well as vitamins A, C, E and most of our B vitamins. They are also a rich source of anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that give blackberries their deep purple color.
- Bananas- are also rich in potassium, fiber and natural sugars. The vitamin C, potassium and other vitamins and minerals bananas contain help to maintain overall good health. Because the fruit’s sugar content is balanced with fiber, it helps maintain a healthy blood glucose level.

I love to have Nichole from Pure Clean Fitness comes to hang out with us!
This week Nichole is sharing a Workout Routine. A Healthy Recipe from me + Fitness Tips from Nichole= a healthy, happy, balanced life!
Nichole’s Foam Roller Workout …
The foam roller and I were once great friends, but sadly we have grown distant in the last few months. It is time to reignite that relationship! I have decided that this relationship needs to grow a bit this time around, to enjoy a roller for more than just rolling. You read that right, a roller is not just for rolling, today we are going to be working out with it as well. When you are done with your workout, or before you start your workout, the roller will already be out and available to do some rolling on any tight muscles.

I love smoothies! I will try this one too ! Thanks for sharing 🙂
You’ll love it for sure!! Thanks for the nice comment and have a wonderful weekend 🙂 xoxo~ Ruthie
