Ingredients in Egg White Breakfast Taco Recipe
- Egg whites- are a fantastic source of pure, low-calorie protein. A single large egg white provides about 3.6 grams of complete protein while containing zero fat, zero cholesterol, and only around 18 calories.
- Sea Salt- is mostly composed of sodium chloride, a compound that helps regulate fluid balance and blood pressure in the body. Since it’s minimally processed, it contains some minerals, including potassium, iron, and calcium.
- Black Pepper- its active compound piperine may have potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Laboratory studies suggest that black pepper may improve cholesterol levels, blood sugar control, and brain and gut health.
- Olive Oil- is widely recognized as one of the world’s healthiest oils. In fact, people tend to live longer and healthier lives in regions where olive oil is a staple part. It is rich in healthy monounsaturated fats, contains large amounts of antioxidants, strong anti-inflammatory properties, may help prevent strokes, protective against heart disease.
- Onions- Onions not only provide flavor, they also provide important nutrients and health-promoting phytochemicals. High in vitamin C, onions are a good source of dietary fiber, and folic acid. They also contain calcium, iron, and have a high protein quality (ratio of mg amino acid/gram protein).
- Coriander (cilantro)- is a fragrant, antioxidant-rich herb that has many culinary uses and health benefits. It may help lower your blood sugar, fight infections, and promote heart, brain, skin, and digestive health. You can easily add coriander seeds or leaves — sometimes known as cilantro — to your diet.
- Cloves- are nutrient-dense flower buds packed with potent antioxidants (particularly eugenol) that help fight free radicals. They offer exceptional health benefits, ranging from rapid pain relief and oral hygiene to improved digestion and blood sugar regulation.
- Red wine vinegar- is a flavorful, low-calorie condiment that offers several science-backed health benefits. Its active compound, acetic acid, can help regulate blood sugar spikes, improve heart health, and aid in weight management by increasing feelings of fullness.
- Granulated Sugar- Granulated sugar is also sometimes known as white sugar, or “regular” sugar. Granulated sugar has had all of the naturally present molasses refined out of it. The fine crystals in granulated sugar don’t cake together, which makes it perfect for measuring, sprinkling onto food and dissolving into drinks.
- Lime juice- is a nutrient-dense powerhouse packed with vitamin C and antioxidants. Just an ounce provides roughly 22% of your daily vitamin C needs. It supports immune function, boosts collagen for healthier skin, aids digestion, and contains citrate, which helps prevent kidney stones.
- Lime zest- is the nutrient-dense outer skin of the lime. It is packed with essential oils, plant compounds, and concentrated Vitamin C that offer significant antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and mood-boosting properties to support your immune and cardiovascular systems.

Does anyone else LOVEEE egg whites?! I eat them all the time for breakfast. Switch up your egg white breakfast routine with this Egg White Breakfast Taco!!
The first day of summer came in with the sun shining, the birds singing, and the kids being busy. With all of the summer craziness I have found workouts harder and harder to get in. The home workouts are becoming a staple, sometimes I do them on my own and sometimes with the kids.
Kids love the spurts, the all out for a few seconds. Kids love that option because they don’t know how to pace themselves. I love that option because HIIT style workouts are an awesome way to get some serious calorie burn in a short amount of time. Let’s do some intervals!!! This is another one you can do with the kids, and for some added fun take it out to the back yard and get some fresh air at the same time!

This is an amazing recipe especially for taco lovers like myself as they can now eat tacos in breakfast as well …Keep up the good work 🙂

16 eggs seem really a lot to me but the dish looks delicious! I’m wondering what we should do with the 16 remaining egg yolks?
– Natalie Ellis
You can use the yolks in other recipes or we scramble them up and give them to our fur-babies… they think it’s the best thing ever!
