  1. Sandy Andersen says:

This was awesome! I did add 2 cans rotel tomatoes and substituted the liquid in the cans for some of the water. I also added a can of black beans and used broken Doritos ranch chips with the taco shells. It was a sure hit and will be making it again for sure!

  2. Could you make this the night before?

    • Ruthie says:

Yes, it would be best to prepare it the night before, then place in the fridge, and cook it the next day. It might need a little more time in the oven since it will be chilled. It will taste just as good! Leftovers on the this recipe are amazing too 🙂 ~Ruthie

  3. debra ellison says:

    Can you freeze this.

    • Ruthie says:

You could make it without the chips and it would freeze just fine, adding the chips on top when served. If you’re freezing leftovers then the chips will just be completely soften but it should still taste good. Let me know how it goes 🙂 xoxo~ Ruthie

  4. Lisa Hudson says:

Can’t wait to make but I’m wondering can I use a can of chili or pinto beans

    • Ruthie says:

Hi Lisa, Yes… either of those should work just fine. You’ll love this recipe 🙂 xoxo~ Ruthie

  5. Chester says:

What’s good to go with this taco casserole

    • Ruthie says:

Hi Chester… this would be good with any mexican stule side dish. Maybe black beans and rice, salad, chips and salsa. That kind of thing is always good 🙂 I hope you enjoy it! xoxox~ Ruthie

  6. Can this be made with soft flour tortilla?

    • Ruthie says:

Hi Suzy… yes, this recipe should work just fine with flour tortillas too! Enjoy and Happy Sunday:)

  7. Taco sauce? is that the same as Salsa? I’m planning on making this for a block party Cinco De Mayo.
    Thanks

    • Ruthie says:

Taco Sauce is a sauce that’s on the mexican food aisle… it is different than salsa. You’ll love this recipe~ it’ll be perfect for Cinco De Mayo! xoxo~ Ruthie

  8. Christy says:

Trying this tonight. Added a can of corn and a can of diced tomatoes. It smells yummy!
