This recipe came to us many years ago from one of my best friends, Carol. We love her and her recipes!

Ingredients in Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Topping Recipe 

  • sweet potatoes or (2-28 oz large cans sweet potatoes)
  • brown sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla
  • cinnamon
  • milk
  •  butter

Pecan Topping Recipe

  • brown sugar
  • flour
  • butter
  • chopped pecans

How to make Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Topping Recipe 

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • Mix first 7 ingredients and spread into a 9×13 casserole dish.
  • In a large sauce pan over medium heat add topping ingredients and heat to boiling, stirring and pour over sweet potato mixture.
  • Bake at 30 to 40 minutes. Enjoy!

  • 3 cups sweet potatoes or (2-28 oz large cans sweet potatoes)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Pecan Topping Recipe:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
