Tips for transport  

Oreo Cheesecake in a jar also makes a great way to transport them if you have to take a dessert with you to a party or gathering–

Just set the prepared jars side by side in a 9×13 baking dish and then cover the top with plastic wrap then they will be secure and happy while en route to your destination.

Ingredients to make No Bake Oreo Cheesecake Recipe

  • Oreo Cookies
  • butter
  • cream cheese
  • sugar
  • vanilla
  • heavy whipping cream

How to make No Bake Oreo Cheesecake Recipe

  • Crush Oreo cookies in a Ziplock bag until fine crumbs.
  • Combine the cookie crumbs and butter. Set aside.
  • Mix the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Press about 2 tablespoons into the bottoms of 4 (1 cup) mason jars.
  • Add 1/4 – 1/3 cup of cheesecake mixture on top of the cookie crust.
  • Spoon another 2 tablespoons of cookie mixture over the cheesecake.
  • Repeat with another layer of cheesecake.
  • Top with more crumbs and/or a single Oreo.
  • Refrigerate at least 2-3 hours before serving.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, more for garnish
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 4 half pint jar (8oz) also known as a jelly jar

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies in a Ziplock bag until fine crumbs.

  3. Mix the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.

  12. NOTE: To make the cheese cake in a pie pan.
  13. Press cookie mixture into a 9 inch pie shell.
  14. Spoon in the cheesecake mixture.
  15. Top with crumbled cookies.
  16. Refrigerate at least 2-3 hours or overnight.

    Can the cheesecake filling be placed in freezer without adding the Oreos?

    • Hi April–if you’d like to make it ahead, freeze the batter, and assemble later… it will work great! Or if you’d rather have it as a frozen dessert, yes, that would be delightful too. Enjoy! Ruthie
