Halloween Ice-Scream Bar with Cookie Cups Recipe
Okay. Talkin’ specifically to all of you momma’s out there… you’ve got to do this cute and enjoyable activity with your littles! Carter was all over it! Let’s be honest… what kid wouldn’t love a yummy cookie cup, ice cream, and candy? Oh and better yet, what kid wouldn’t love to play and create with all of that good stuff?! It was such a pleasurable family activity. I sincerely enjoyed being able to create with my babies and to watch Carter purely just enjoy himself! Carter stuck the candy corn and kit-kats on his ice cream and then was trying to blow them out like candles. It was TOO CUTE!!! Oh man, sometimes I wish I could have the beautiful imagination of a 2 year old again.
Halloween Ice-Scream Bar with Cookie Cups– Fun for the whole family!
I think my husband’s favorite part was the eating during and after. 🙂 Carter laughed and laughed when I put the gummy worm above my mouth like a mustache and then he did it with me! Carter totally ended up decorating everyone’s cookie cups, not just his own. 😉
Literally there is no need to steal your kid’s candy this year when you’ve got all the goods from Kroger (find the goodies here!) for this activity! Halloween candy IS for adults too, you guys! Let your kids savor their Halloween candy while you have yours as well. 🙂 What’s your favorite Halloween candy? Mine definitely is Sour Patch Kids or Swedish Fish. I’m not so much a chocolate girl… (I’ve been asked more times than I can count how it’s possible to be a woman and not like chocolate. I guess I’m the odd one out). Haha. 😉 Don’t worry, this whole not liking chocolate thing doesn’t run in the fam– my mom is a chocolate LOVER!
Halloween Ice-Scream Bar with Cookie Cups at Kroger
Kroger really is your one-stop-shop this Halloween! Conveniently find all of the ingredients for this recipe PLUS all of your Halloween needs at your local Kroger store. We love our Smith’s Marketplace. Fun fact: I (Madeliene) live only a few minutes away from my Smith’s in Cedar City and my mom, Ruthie, lives just a few minutes away from her Smith’s in Sandy! Talk about convenient for both of us.
P.S. If you’re running short on time, like I always am during the holidays, use Smith’s (or any Kroger store) online in-store pick up and delivery. This has saved my bacon a number of times!

My Carter boy was in love with the Halloween display at Smith’s! He kept running around it in circles and weaving his way through it, pointing to everything and saying, “Ma, spider!” “Ma, punky (pumpkin)!” “Ma, num-nums (candy)!” It was was a total blast watching him be so excited about Halloween! Life with a 2 year old & a 2 month old sure is craaaaazy, I tell you what! Crazy and crazy fun. 😉 Can’t wait to see them all dressed up for Halloween!!!
