Ingredients in Patriotic Fruit and Cheese Kabobs Recipe

  • Watermelon- is a highly hydrating, low-calorie fruit packed with essential nutrients like vitamins A and C. It promotes heart health, aids in muscle recovery, and contains powerful antioxidants that combat cell damage.
  • Blueberries- The fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and phytonutrient content in blueberries supports heart health. The absence of cholesterol from blueberries is also beneficial to the heart. Fiber content helps to reduce the total amount of cholesterol in the blood and decrease the risk of heart disease.
  • Fresh mozzarella ciliegine- (cherry-sized balls) provides excellent bone-building calcium, complete muscle-repairing protein, and essential probiotics for gut health. Because it is a soft, fresh cheese, it is significantly lower in sodium, lactose, and saturated fat than aged cheeses, making it highly digestible.
