Summer is here and the kids are home on school vacation.
Which means LOTS of snacks and treats being made.
When it comes to our kids, we try to limit the amount of Sugar they are eating. However we do allow for an occasional SPECIAL treat every once in a while.
I like knowing what is going into the food they are eating, so I try to always have things prepared in advance for when those SPECIAL occasions arrive.
So today I am going to show you how to make a Yummy Frozen and Cool treat, Gluten Free Banana Bites!!
They are so quick and easy to make. You can also make a BUNCH of them to have on hand when those unexpected guest or play dates arrive.
Here’s what you will need:
Gluten Free Chocolate Chips, Organic Banana’s, Fresh Ground Almond Butter (optional) and Fresh Chopped Raw Pecans and Raw Cashews. (Nuts and Choice of Nuts are optional)
Cut your Banana’s into circles.
Melt your Chocolate ( these Gluten Free chocolates, melt VERY fast )
Spread your Almond Butter onto one Banana Circle and Place another on top. Like a Sandwich.
Dip your Banana Sandwich into your Chocolate and FULLY cover. Then sprinkle with your Chopped Nuts.
Place them on a piece of parchment paper and FREEZE until fully hardened!
And, it’s as SIMPLE as that!!!
Now you’ve got a Delicious Bite size treat, to enjoy and serve to some Happy Little people!!
Even some Happy BIG people!!
