Why we love Strawberry Bruschetta Recipe

I love Bruschetta- everything! Oh my.  I decided to throw a fruity twist into this classic recipe and I must say… I’m pretty darn glad I did!  It’s got to be one of the BEST appetizers I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve done my fair share of taste testing!).

Summer Strawberry Bruschetta is ever so lovely with the purple basil but if all you can find is fresh sweet basil (green) that works just great too!  They taste the same but purple basil just gives a color pop that’s always nice.

Fit Friday with Nichole

I know there are many of you that are not treadmill fans, but as a momma the treadmill is a life saver. Having the daycare at the gym to watch kiddos or even the treadmill at home when it just isn’t possible to get outside has been a must for me.

In the winter I turn on a show and stay off the ice and sometimes in the summer mornings can’t happen for one reason or another so I turn on a show and enjoy A/C instead of the hot hot sun. It is also a fun way to run with friends that don’t necessarily run the same pace as you.

If you just can’t do the treadmill I totally get it and respect you. Feel free to take this same workout and head outside. I love loading workouts on to my Garmin and just going. I don’t have to keep track of sets or watch the time, instead my watch beeps at me and tells me exactly what to do next.

As always, be sure to cool down and stretch.
