We are in the kitchen with Heather from Heathers French Press today!
She’s sharing a fun autumn recipe: Sriracha Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
I love having Heather visit, she always has fabulous recipes to share with us. I’ll let her take it from here…
I am so excited to visiting Ruthie today, and I am sharing one of my favorite fall snacks.
Halloween is over, and I could not wait to un-decorate. We had quite the selection of pumpkins on the porch this year; Stella may have gotten a bit carried away with her Halloween decorating.
That’s okay, it just means that I will have plenty of homemade pumpkin puree and roasted pumpkin seeds.
This year I made plain and cinnamon and sugar for the kiddos, but for the adults went SPICY.
Sriracha Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients
- 1 - 2 cups of pumpkin seeds {rinsed and dried}
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Sriracha {a good squirt - but use as much or as little as you like}
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees
- combine the seeds, olive oil,salt, and Sriracha
- spread in an even layer on baking sheet
- roast for 40 - 45 minutes
I may have used a bit too much sriracha on ours 🙂 but that didn’t stop me from devouring them.
Enjoy!
