I’m so happy to have Dru from Polka Dot Poplars visting with us today! She’s brought an adorable DIY project to share…
Oh my goodness, her Chandelier Planter project is just so fun to make for your backyard this summer!
Hi Everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your summer so far.
I love using odd things for planters and when I saw a version of a chandelier planter I knew I just had to make one. I found this fixture for free at a warehouse sale and decided it would be perfect and found some lightweight pots that I found at Walmart. I’ve seen all kinds of fixtures and pots at the thrift store. Wouldn’t this be cute with a variety of different pots or pots in different colors.
I spray painted the fixture in an off white and I like the color of the pots I bought so didn’t do anything to them. Using E-6000 glue I attached the pots to the fixture and let dry.
I planted my flowers and hung it up. It’s adds such a fun pop of color in my tree. Now to remember to water it. 🙂
Here’s a couple of posts we’ve recently added:
