Target Dollar Pail Planters

I ran into these adorable little metal pails at Target the other day and new I had to figure out something SO cute to do with them!

I love these little guys so much and I just had to share them with y’all!

Target Dollar Pail Planters are a super cute idea for anyone in need of a litte gift.

 

 

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

Just turn the adorable little pails upside down, carefully take a nail and poke three holes in the base of the pail, place a few small rocks inside, throw in a scoop of potting soil, and add your favorite plant!

I picked up these plants at the local home improvement store~ the little leaf one is called a County Park Pratia and the darling leggy-one is Angelina Sedum.  They’re both ground covers so when the season is over just set plant them in the yard to keep on growing 🙂

I also grabbed a couple of 6″ floor guards to set under them to catch the water and they work like a charm.
