Why use White and Brown Sugar in the same recipe?

We are using both white (granulated) and brown sugars, you maybe wondering why do we need two kinds? White sugar dissolves faster causing the dough to soften and spread. Brown sugar adds moisture and makes it chewier than white sugar alone so combining both kinds gives the benefits of both! Brown sugars are white granulated sugar that has had cane molasses added to it.

The two types of brown sugar, light and dark, refer to the amount of molasses that is present. Light brown sugar is used more often in baking, while dark brown sugar, with a bolder molasses flavor, is delicious used as a rub for steaks.

Fit Friday with Nichole

Fit Friday never gets old!! Fit tips + healthy recipes = greatness. Thanks to Nichole from Pure Clean Coaching! More Fit Friday posts CLICK HERE!

Question for you; why do you workout? Is it because you love yourself? Because you enjoy the way you feel when you workout? I hope so. Too many of us workout because we are unhappy with who we are. We workout as a form of punishment. Believe me when I say that is not a good reason.

This is the first Fit Friday of February. It is the month of love and I am excited! A whole month to focus on love! Love for self. Love for life! Love for others! There is so much love in the world and so many opportunities to find it, feel it, revel in it.

This month we are going to hit the gym because we enjoy the way it makes us feel. We are going to do it out of love for self.

Don’t forget to spend at least ten minutes warming up and ten minutes cooling down!
