Packed with flavonoids like quercetin and kaempferol, they promote cardiovascular health, aid in blood sugar management, and possess antimicrobial properties that support immunity.
- Garlic- Garlic fights all types of infections—fungal, bacterial, parasitic, and viral—regulates blood sugar, lowers blood pressure, and lowers cholesterol, used widely as a flavoring in cooking, but it has also been used as a medicine throughout ancient and modern history.
- Olive Oil- is widely recognized as one of the world’s healthiest oils. In fact, people tend to live longer and healthier lives in regions where olive oil is a staple part. It is rich in healthy monounsaturated fats, contains large amounts of antioxidants, strong anti-inflammatory properties, may help prevent strokes, protective against heart disease.
- Mushrooms- are nutrient-dense, low-calorie, and cholesterol-free foods that boost immune function, enhance heart health, and support brain health with potent antioxidants like ergothioneine and glutathione. They are a rare plant-based source of vitamin D, rich in B vitamins, selenium, and copper, while offering anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventing properties.
- Parmesan Cheese- Parmesan cheese is a good source of protein and fat. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals like calcium, vitamin A, vitamins B6 and B12, phosphorus, zinc, and copper.
