Be an Overcomer

Life.

Is full of highs and lows, ups and downs.

Like the ocean… tossing to and fro.

Everyone of us experiences pain, loss, and tough times.

Sometimes~ all we can do is hold on and let the ocean run it’s course.

This life is a journey! It all has a purpose.

We are here to learn and grow and become better people.

Everything has it’s opposite; day/night, good/bad, happy/sad.

We would not know the joy without experiencing the pain.

Know that God loves you, that he walks every step with you, and he will comfort and guide you every second of every day.

The storm will calm and the sun will shine again!

I’d like to dedicate this post to my sweet dad who is battling cancer and under going treatments.

Thank you for being strong, keeping a sense of humor, being a fighter, and having the desire to overcome!

I love you.

    Dear Ruthie,
Some years back, my precious mother called to tell me that she had lung cancer. I’m sure it was the hardest call she had ever had to make. As she gave me the sad, scary news, she quickly added that she had asked the Lord to hold her hand. In effect, her strength and comfort became mine as well. I can tell that you, your Daddy and your family are in good hands. Sending up prayers for you all.
    In Christ’s love,
    Lillace
