Lemon Garlic Hummus

Lemon Garlic Hummus is a recipe I picked up last night at the Taste of Home Cooking show 🙂

Lemon Garlic Hummus

Lemon Garlic Hummus is so simple to throw together, all you need is 5 ingredients and a blender or food processor!!  It’s really smooth and so delicious with naan or pita bread.

The Taste of Home Cooking School was a lot of fun and our Chef, Michelle, did a fabulous job!  The funniest part of the night was when she said with a little southern drawl,”You know chocolate it comes from the cocoa bean so it’s really just a vegetable and sugar?? It come from a beet so it’s just a vegetable too:)  We need to eat lotsa vegetables!!”  She was cute and funny and did a super great job demonstrating!

I went with my sister, Camey, and my best friend, Carol, AND it was a nice ladies night out!  Carol won a bag of groceries and I won a little tub of honey!  We wanted Camey to win one of the dishes Michelle made… which they gave away at the end but,  no such luck!  We might be whipping up that Peanut Butter Cheesecake they demonstrated last night… holy moly it looked SO good!!
