With Hope, The Odds Don’t Matter

One of my favorite aspects of this blogging journey, is the opportunity it has given me to come in contact with so many wonderful people.  I’m continually touched by so many of you in so many ways.

I consider it an honor to introduce you to a beautiful woman who reached out to me with her story of survival, Heather Von St. James is a Mesothelioma Survivor.  She was given 15 months to live~ 10 years ago.  Her story is touching and her words are powerful…

“My name is Heather Von St. James and I am approaching my 10 year cancer free anniversary (yay!) after being diagnosed with mesothelioma.  I never thought I’d see this day. The doctors gave me 15 months to live shortly after giving birth to my daughter Lily. I was determined not to let that stop me from watching my little girl grow up, so here I am today!!”

Today is Mesothelioma Awareness Day and so take a minute to educate yourselves and listen to Heather’s story of hope and her desire to raise awareness of Mesothelioma Cancer….
