If you remember a few weeks ago when I posted about Bloggers’ Night Out at Gardener Village and I also shared my excitement at being able to attend a Thai Cooking Class at Taste Culinary Boutique

As they made “A Thai Feast” which included 3 different Thai dishes- they also gave us a lot of Thai cooking tips through out the entire evening.   You definitely want to come to class at Taste hungry because you’ll get to enjoy a serving of everything that’s demonstrated 🙂

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli, preferably Chinese broccoli, chopped into large pieces
  • 1 package fresh broad rice noodles
  • 4 eggs
  • 3-5 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons black bean sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 package firm tofu
  • 1 white onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In small bowl, combine half the minced garlic, soy sauce, black bean sauce, fish sauce and sugar.
  2. In another bowl whisk eggs.
  3. Heat a large wok over a high flame to very hot.
  4. Add a few tablespoons of oil.
  5. Add the garlic and saute quickly.
  6. Add onions and tofu.
  7. Next, add broccoli and saute.
  8. Add noodles.
  9. Pour sauce over the noodles.
  10. Stir and fold rapidly.
  11. Make a small opening in the middle if the wok, add eggs and scramble.
  12. Stir everything to combine.
  13. Add salt to taste.
  14. Serve immediately with Sriracha if you like it spicy hot.

The Thai Cooking Class from Taste Culinary Boutique was a really fun evening… I would recommend it to all of you for a fun ladies night out or a fabulous dinner out for couples!

  1. Looks great! I once did a Thai cooking class in Phuket on a holiday there, it was very fun to learn so many yummy dishes to make at home!
