Today we’re sharing a fun new app called Local Chow! It’s a fabulous way to connect at home cooks with local families. We are lovin’ it. Talk about a simple way to enjoy homemade food by barely lifting a finger! AND the best part is… drum roll please… Local Chow is a free app and it is free and easy to sell on Local Chow.
How to use Local Chow app
We tried a handful of fabulous Local Chow items and everything we tried was SO good. Take a journey with us below to learn about all things Local Chow. 🙂
First step:
Whether you are an Android lover or a an Apple lover, Local Chow has got you! Download the FREE app here: Apple — Android.
Second step:
Enter your zip code or desired location of food pickup.
Third step:
Look at all the homemade food options near you (see pic above). Local Chow will tell you how many miles the food is away from you, what day it is available for pickup, the ingredients, any allergens, and the price.
Fourth step:
Order the food you want! Easily pick the time and date of pickup that works for you and pay with paypal, debit or credit card.
Fifth step:
Once your order is ready, the cook will notify you and plan to pick up on the day/time you selected at checkout. You can also message the cook if you have any questions or need to change a pickup time.
Every cook that we ordered from was soooo understanding and kind. We sincerely loved every bit of our experience using Local Chow for the first time.
Sixth step:
Enjoy, of course! Enjoy with your friends and family and maybe some just keep to yourself… 😉
Our Local Chow Finds and Experience!
I was amazed at how many mouth watering food items were near us!!! I was seriously like how did I not know about this?! I also wanted to try ALL the food. Wow. The handful of items we tried did not disappoint. We tried 100% Whole Wheat Bread, Authentic Indian Veggie Samosas, Freeze Dried Skittles, and Oreo Truffles! Honestly, we would order every single one again because our families devoured and enjoyed them so much!
We can’t wait to try more items around us on Local Chow! We might even sign up as a cook and sell some of our own family favorite dishes. 🙂 I was looking through the app last night and saw that someone was selling seasonal St. Patrick’s Day bread. It was sooo cute! All these awesome different colors of green in a yummy sweet bread. I’m thinkin’ I’ll have to order one for my boys tomorrow.
Enjoy Local Chow, my friends. We know you will LOVE it!!!
We’re so Lovin’ Local Chow & we’re sure you’ll love it too!
