Gram’s Famous Barbecues are the perfect combination of sweet and sour with a hint of dill! Yummo 🙂
AND the best part of these barbecue sandwiches is you use leftover meat! YEP, you heard me right!!
Never know what to do with the leftover hamburgers all grilled up from last Saturday? or the Roast that didn’t all get eaten on Sunday? This is the answer to that dry meat question… make Gram’s Famous Barbecues and nobody will ever know that the meat was “leftovers” 🙂
I made this batch with some already grilled hamburgers, that I crumbled and froze. THEN 2 weeks later, I pulled out the meat and whipped these delicious little barbeques together. After my husband had eaten one I said, “Did you recognize the meat?” He said, “no, was it bear?” (knowing my dad’s an avid hunter) “Nope” I told him it was from the BBQ we’d had 2 weeks ago! He couldn’t believe it and was very impressed!!

Gram’s Famous Barbecues totally remind me of my childhood… I’ve eaten these my whole life BUT, nothing quiet says home like a familiar taste! It’s got a way of taking you back to fond memories and good times with every bite. I hope you find these sandwiches as yummy and satisfying as we do 🙂
