Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 12ounce package milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
  2. Coat cookie sheet with cooking spray; set aside.
  3. In mixing bowl cream butter and cream cheese.
  4. Add sugar; mix 2-3 minutes until well creamed.
  5. Add egg; mix 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  6. Add orange zest and vanilla; mix.
  7. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until 80% incorporated.
  8. Add chocolate chips; stir to combine.
  9. Use a small cookie scoop or drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto prepared sheet.
  10. Bake 10-13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  11. Cool on rack.
