Kristin's Chocolate Chip Cookies ... Christmas style!

This is my cute friend Kristen's Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe and she's famous for these cookies!  They're moist and flaky and so, so good! 

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 22 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 41/2- 5 cups flour, not too sticky
  • 1 pakage chocolate chips, I used 1/2 pakage cherry chips and 1/2 pakage of white choc chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl whip butter and crisco.
  2. Add and mix well after each addition brown sugar, white sugar.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Drop by Tablespoon full onto sprayed cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 350 degrees for 11-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  6. Cool on rack.
  7. Enjoy!
