Cranberry Pecan Bars have a crunchy base with cream cheese filling and topped off with a cranberry compote- they’re a holiday dessert that won’t be forgotten! Yummmmm.
My recipe is a bit of a spin off the original Raspberry Pecan Bars that are in the cookbook~ I just happened to have fresh cranberries in the fridge so I adapted it. Isn’t that the best part about cooking~ we’re creating recipes all the time by adjusting them to our likes and dislikes, what we have on hand, or the way we like our food. It makes it fun, right?!
