I’ve been wanting to share this amazing Timpanogos hike that I went on about a month ago with all of you AND now I’m just getting time to write about it…
This was my first time to hike this side of the Timpanogos mountain here in Utah. I went with a group of friends- one of which does this 14 mile hike every morning except for when there’s snow on the ground. He was on his 568th hike to the top when we went and he just reached his 600th hike up yesterday… that’s completely astounding, right?! He’s on the left in the photo below…
I’m a sort of a nut when it comes to flowers- the whole time I was snapping pictures, catching up with the group, and then snapping more pictures AND… you get the idea.
You would not have believed all the wild flowers, they were breath-taking and growing everywhere…
We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day and I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that I supplied these delicious Omega 3 Cookies for our hiking enjoyment…
If y’all haven’t tried those cookies- you simply must! They are to-die-for 🙂
Once we got to the top, there is a shack where you can sign your name on a register and OH MY goodness… the views are absolutely amazing!
Yep, it’s really windy and a little bit chilly up there at 11,000 feet 🙂
It was just a beautiful on the hike back down…
I would love to do this hike again, it was an awesome experience!
Thanks for Chatting with me. I hope you have a fabulous long weekend and enjoy the Labor Day holiday with your family and friends.
Happy Friday!

Ruthie…Congratulations on making it to the top of Timpanogos. I’ve done that a couple of times and I know it is a great accomplishment. I am hoping to do it once more in my life time, but your friend doing it 600 times is staggering. Way to go Ruthie
Hi Jean! Thanks for the nice comment 🙂 It was so amazing- you can’t beat the views even though you have to billy goat your way up to the top! That part was a little scary. AND 600 times is totally amazing, I agree. I must admit I was a little sore- doing it every day would be an amazing workout! Have a great day. xoxo~ Ruthie
What an amazing hike. The scenery is beautiful!!
Thank you Crystal… super fun. I hope you have a fabulous long weekend 🙂 xoxo~ Ruthie
