Disneyland’s Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Rods Recipe are simple to make at home and taste just as good! They’re fun to make too with three different layers of chocolate plus caramel all dipped and drizzled on a pretzel rod! Caramel pretzel rods are pretty delightful all by themselves so for the non-chocolate lovers out you’ve that option too. Our chocolate caramel pretzel rods are a sweet tooth’s heaven for sure! 🙂

For a few years our family had season passes to Disneyland so inevitably we’d load up the car and drive to California to spend school breaks at the Magic Kingdom. We are happy to share some Official Disney Recipes plus some more highlights from our Holiday Disneyland trip through the week!

Because of my lovely little blog… we were given VIP seats to the parade our first night at Disneyland!  Which was totally awesome!!  Here’s a photo of the kids in their front row seats 🙂

Disneyland's Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Rods Recipe

Disneyland's Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Rods Recipe

Disneyland's Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Rods Recipe are simple to make at home and taste just as good!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) package pretzel rods
  • 1 (11 ounce) package caramel bits
  • 1 (12 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 package mini M&M's
  • wax paper

Instructions

  1. Melt caramel bits according to package directions (I used a microwave),
  2. Dip each caramel rod in caramel covering it 3/4 of the way, leaving the base of rod uncovered.
  3. Use a spoon to assist dipping.
  4. Lay on wax paper to cool and set.
  5. Once cooled, melt chocolate chips and oil in microwave for 30 seconds, stir well, microwave 15 seconds, stir well, repeat until completely melted.
  6. Dip rods in chocolate covering all of caramel except for 1/2 inch at the base, lay on wax paper, sprinkle with mini m&m's, place on wax paper.
  7. Once all the rods are dipped, use a fork and remaining chocolate to drizzle over rods.
  8. Allow to cool and set.
  9. Enjoy!

**The yummy chocolate chip cookie in the photo was actually bought at Disneyland and the plate and wrapper are from there too!  I bought the cookie cutter and think it would be so fun to duplicate that cookie one of these days 🙂
