Last week I had the opportunity to meet up with a small group of bloggers and CenturyLink for lunch and some brainstorming!
I’m not too proud to say I’m the only who got cookies… yep, only me! It’s all good tho cuz I brought them home and enjoyed them a little later in the day. OH and they were quite lovely and everything you’d hope a peanut butter cookie to be 🙂
Back to our luncheon~ we met at the Lion House Pantry in downtown Salt Lake City with Jeremy from CenturyLink and had a brainstorming session, I learned a lot about how much they support our community schools and I think it’s really awesome!
CenturyLink has a 100 years of creativity and guiding the future, CenturyLink has been improving lives by connecting people to the power of the digital world. We all bounced around ideas and shared our experiences with technology providers and what/how we would improve or change it.
I have to tell you that I was really impressed with CenturyLink and all that they do to support our community. CenturyLink is fueling the power of technology for the next generation by supporting education, here are some of the ways they give back to Salt Lake City…
-STEM program in partnership with Utah Jazz recognizes outstanding students in science and tech by making a $10k donation to the students presented at a Utah Jazz home game.
-Teachers and Technology offers yearly grants to teachers that exemplify technology excellence in the classroom – this year, we donated $50k to this program in Salt Lake City alone.
-CenturyLink offers scholarships in technology to help students with their college education.
CenturyLink invests in the communities it serves – they go above and beyond to connect all aspects of your life, whether at work, at school or at home. The future of technology is CenturyLink – we are continuing to build the infrastructure for the fastest internet service in Salt Lake City for generations to come.
Y’all know I just have to share a photo of my lunch! It was a fabulous turkey cranberry sandwich on whole grain ciabatta roll… delightful! HEY and there are my package of peanut butter cookies too 🙂
Thanks for joining me in sharing some of the highlights from our CenturyLink Blogger Lunch!
Much Love and Peace~
