Hot Butterscotch Sauce

We are in the kitchen with Heather from www.heathersfrenchpress.com today…

Heather always has delicious recipes to share with us every month and her Hot Butterscotch Sauce looks just mouth-watering!

I’ll let Heather take it from here…

Yesterday, my family had a friendly little sundae competition.

you can vote for your favorite sundae here

It was a lot of fun, and we are all excited to see who the winner will be.

To get the competition started, I made the homemade sundae sauce toppings.

Chocolate and hot fudge always seem to be the favorites, but mine…

I have always loved butterscotch, and even though I make caramel all the time,I had never made my own.

The sundae competition was the perfect opportunity, and I am SO glad I did.

It is delicious, and so easy, that I know I will never be buying a jar again.
