History of Mint Mojito’s

We love our southern recipes–they always seem to hit the spot! Even though it’s said that the original Mojito was a medicinal drink to curb disease on the island of Cuba. To make them a moon shine rum-type alcohol was mixed with mint, lime, and sugar cane syrup to ward off illness.

Mint Mojitos have deep roots in the southern states– they’re a perfect way to cool off on a lazy summer day! 🙂
