  6. Pour batter into pan.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes on cooling rack, turn out cake and complete cooling on rack.

You’ve probably noticed there’s no oil listed in the ingredients and that’s the really AWESOME part— there’s not any!

Don’t worry though- this Skinny Banana Chip Cake is still moist and flavorful and delicious 🙂  Mmmm, hmmm.

  1. […] whatscookingwithruthie.comThis is an oil-free recipe. The mixture of mashed bananas and eggs whites keeps the cake moist.  […]

  2. This looks and sounds awesome Ruthie! The moisture of the banana is a natural “oil” making your cakes and even banana breads moist! I can’t wait to try this. I love everything chocolate and I love the combination of chocolate and banana. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jen… you’re totally right! Banana’s are great for moisture AND I especially love recipes with no additional oil in them 🙂 Love that!! Hope you are doing well. xoxo~ Ruthie
