Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites are part of a progressive tailgate party today!!
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced ( I used Gourmet Garden)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Gourmet Garden red chili pepper or 1/4 tsp dried red chili pepper
  • 4 chicken tenders, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 8 slices thick cut bacon, cut into 2 1/2 inch sections
  • 24 wooden toothpicks or mini skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small mixing bowl combine the first 5 ingredients, mix well.
  3. Next, wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken piece and secure with wooden skewer.
  4. Cover the entire bacon wrapped chicken with sauce using a basting brush.
  5. Set on a broiler pan.
  6. Repeat with each piece of chicken.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or when bacon is crispy, basting with remaining sauce half way through cook time.
  8. ENJOY!

Cut chicken in 1/2 inch slices and bacon in thirds

Wrap bacon around chicken and secure with wooden skewer- I found my mini skewers at the local dollar store!!  Baste entirely with sauce

Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bacon is crispy!! ENJOY!
